This Minimalistic Baby’s Breath Wedding Resembled a Modern-Day Bridgerton!

Minimalistic Baby's Breath Wedding at Meadowlark 1939 in Atlanta

A modern-day take on a Bridgerton wedding? That’s EXACTLY what Melanie and Ryan’s wedding consisted of!! This couple’s big day was absolutely beautiful and featured some of the best vendors in Atlanta, at one of the most popular venues around the city! Meadowlark 1939 is a venue that feels like it is designed for garden parties, and features multiple pools, a greenhouse, and sprawling gardens with big oak trees! It was the perfect setting for these two to become one. 🤍

One of our favorite elements of this wedding was the intricate use of baby’s breath (the only florals you’ll see throughout the entire day!!), designed by Shean Strong, a destination wedding florist who brought a breath of fresh air into the decor and wedding design…literally 😉 . The couple sought planning expertise from Rose + Sage who helped bring their day together and photographer Megan Kuhn captured every little detail shared between Melanie and Ryan that you all are sure to swoon over!!

When describing the inspiration of the day, a few things came to mind: modern, minimalistic, Bridgerton, whimsical, and baby’s breath. Enough said!

While Melanie is outgoing and social, Ryan describes himself as more of an introvert, but these two couldn’t be more perfect for one another!

The two met in graduate school. Ryan was getting his master’s in School Psychology and she was finishing her teaching credential in special ed. They had been in a few classes together but didn’t start talking until they went on a trip together for a school conference. When the two got back home they decided to hang out… and then they hung out every single day for a week and immediately knew they wanted to be together! What a great love story!

Melanie and Ryan shared with us what they love about one another and we can’t help but agree they are absolutely perfect for one another!

I love how secure and level-headed Ryan is. He really grounds me and provides so much security and safeness when I’m with him. I love that he balances me and is everything that I am not. – Melanie

I love that she throws down in the kitchen, her energy is great and we can always be ourselves around each other. – Ryan

The couple shared with their photographer that they wanted their photos to turn out very romantic. Melanie is a big fan of black-and-white moody shots and wanted their pictures to really show the emotions of their day. Thankfully Megan Kuhn absolutely delivered!!

Cheers to the Biddles!
