Erin and Jason’s love story is a little bit different than most. They first met doing a mutual friend’s
comedy show. Jason asked Erin out, but she was dating someone, so declined. He replied that if that ever changed, to let him know.
Almost a year later, it did, and Erin DM’ed him to reconnect! They were on their 3rd date when their lives changed forever. The pair was on the roof of Jason’s building, and they leaned against a skylight. It broke, and they both fell through to the floor below. Jason sustained a spinal cord injury from that fall and spent the next 5 months in the hospital and in rehab. During that time, they attempted to see each other between surgeries and slowly began to build a relationship through hospital visits and looking at the art on the walls of the rehab building.
The first big trip the pair took after the accident was to Yosemite. It meant so much to them to see that they could still be adventurous and outdoorsy with the way their life was now, so the couple wanted to have their wedding show that too. That is why they chose to share their big day at Tenaya at Yosemite with their closest friends and family. Good Stock Planning helped to make sure this day went as smooth as can be while Mandee Johnson documented the day through breathtaking photos! Feast your eyes on these GORG photos!

Ceremony Amongst the Trees

Processional: Stay Alive by Jose Gonzales
Recessional: Proud Mary by Creedence Clearwater Revival
First Dance: I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston

Laughter and happy tears ruled the day, with Jason surprising Erin with a song he wrote and performed for her during the ceremony!

My favorite moment was coming around the corner with my dad on my arm and seeing Jason’s face as I walked down the aisle. A close second was being serenaded by Jason [during the ceremony] and laugh-crying through the whole thing. (Erin)
There were a lot of great moments during our wedding; Erin's nephews as the Ring Bearer and Flower Boy, the whole wedding doing a conga line when "Jump In The Line" played, the ten-minute "good luck" rain shower, seeing Erin in her dress for the first time... I could go on. But the most memorable moment for me was being able to play a song I wrote just for Erin (and not messing up). I was very good, if I do say so myself. (Jason)

Pop the champagne it’s time to celebrate! These two are hitched!!
The Outdoorsy Wedding Portraits

The bride wore a simple wedding dress by Alexandra Grecco, and she notes that she picked it because it felt like wearing butter! Comfort IS key!

This couple and their baby blues! Such a beautiful duo!

Jason went with Indochino because they have great suits, and make suits tailored specifically to you. He was worried about being seated the whole time, and they were amazing at making sure his suit looked absolutely perfect!
