The holiday season is upon us and here at GWS, we couldn’t be more excited! The shorter days lead to chilly nights, perfect for candlelit dinners and cuddling up – and plenty of inspiration from all the magical events that transpire. Which brings us to today’s gorgeous couple, Farren + Aaron. Several years into marriage and four children later, they decided to celebrate with a dreamy anniversary session complete with a sparkling dress, brilliant colors, and a horse named (what else?) Whiskey.
Simply Brilliant Events stepped in to plan + design the day, set at the rustic The Val Royal Barn in Fenton, Michigan. Shanell Photography captured the couple in her classic hybrid style, using both film and digital cameras. Prepare to fall in love!
F + A didn’t have photos from their wedding, which makes this first look all the more exciting!
We’d venture to say that nothing stuns so much as a long-sleeved gold-sequined gown! It’s the Gold Dara Gown by Badgley Mischka (and you can get your own for all those holiday galas at Rent the Runway).
Is it just us, or is Whiskey smiling?! Adorned with that lovely wreath, we wouldn’t blame her!
Farren’s gorgeous low ‘do is by Ashli Lincoln and her makeup is by Andrea Walker.
How about this cascading bouquet?? Loving the bright colors + textures, courtesy of Violet Rose Floral!
Simply obsessed with all of it: the centerpiece, the candles, romantic settee, artichoke place cards, gold chairs and table from Event Theory…hello, winter table inspo!
Honestly, who doesn’t need a cake to match your dress? This sweet iteration by Brookie’s Cookies & Cakes is the perfect ending! Many congrats to Farren + Aaron from all of us at GWS xoxo!
