Even though it’s in the middle of nowhere; 3 hours from the nearest airport, there’s something big happening in Marfa, TX. This small town in West Texas is a bit of a folkloric hub, with art installations, concerts, cultural festivals + mythic Marfa lights. It’s no surprise that a stunningly stylish couple like Tiera + Daniel would be enchanted.
T + D share their wedding vision: Our inspo was backyard chic; we wanted a modern take on ‘Father of the Bride’! We tried to sprinkle in touches of our relationship into small details of the wedding – like our love for the Beatles, and Dairy Queen. Growing up in West Texas, DQ served as a communal place and where my family worked, so it was the most obvious choice for a late night treat to keep the party going. We also had a deep appreciation for the city of Marfa. We wanted the funkiness of that town to be the canvas for our modern affair.
Wedding guests flew across the country, and Bash Co + Events gathered their favorite vendors from Dallas and traveled across the desert for T + D’s modern, magical day.

Tiera shares the story behind her STUNNING modern wedding gown by Chosen by One Day: I knew from day one that I wanted my dress to be from LOHO Bride in LA. The bridal store was my vibe and it turns out when I started researching dresses, the first dress designer I felt drawn to was Chosen by One Day – and luckily they had a trunk show at Loho! Of course the dress I chose was picked by none other than my maid of honor and was something I thought I would never wear. But when I put it on, I just knew it was the one that I wanted Daniel to see me in!

Mythic Marfa Ceremony
Our bus ride with our bridal party and moms was filled with anticipation that ended with a majestic view of our ceremony on La Tierra.
