This destination wedding in the South of Italy (Sicily to be exact) is a hopeless romantic’s dream. The couple met when they were both just 6 years old!! At age nine he asked her if she wanted to be his girlfriend (adorable), and 20 years later they met again and eventually got married! How sweet is that!?!
Noi 2 Weddings help put together this dream Italian wedding as well as create all the floral masterpieces sprinkled throughout the day. Martina Ruffini photographed the entire day and we’re thrilled to share it with you!
Their wedding invitations were a mix of traditional style and handwritten details with a sweet illustration of the couple.
A classic! The bride wore Jimmy Choo’s Sacora Faux Pearl Sandals and of course, we are so obsessed. If you love these shoes as well but they are out of your budget, we found a more affordable pair here.
Absolutely loving this flower crown moment!
When it came to searching for her dress, the bride was certain about one thing: a minimal gown with long sleeves. Her first time at Atelier Eme, was eight months before the wedding where she purchased a long sleeve gown for the ceremony and a lace one for the reception… a 1920’s styled silver dress!
This bridal party sure knows how to stun!!!
The Sicilian Ceremony
The bride shares: “Our wedding was a destination wedding, we are both from Campania, one hour from Amalfi coast, but we have chosen for our wedding to be in Sicily, near Taormina.”
The venue, Canonica Degli Archi in Sicilian villa, dates all the way back to the 1700s! It was a gorgeous small church with a gorgeous sea view. The couple had decided on a boho chic and vintage vibe for their wedding ceremony style.
The inspiration for this couple’s big day stemmed from their passions: travel (in a boho wunderlust way) + fantasy novels! They were also looking to fold in vintage and retro elements which they totally nailed!!
Bride: My entrance. And the first time we saw each other in the church!
The Wedding Style
How fun is this reception space! Guests grabbed cocktails and mingled while the bride and groom finished up with photos!
Someone pinch us! We must be dreaming because this dining space is absolutely breathtaking.
Each table was adorned with colorful candles and dried muted florals in the cutest ceramic vases!
The Newlyweds
The vibes = IMMACULATE!
For the reception entrance, the bride changed into a sultry sequined gown to spice up the night! We can totally see the 1920’s essence and we are living for it.
Plan early and plan a budget. Do your wedding your way, this is the best thing you can do, do your wedding with no regrets, this is your day.
A huge congratulations are in order for Sabrina and Nicola — cheers to the happy couple, here’s to many happy years ahead!
